Testing within a selected pilot user-group culminated in late January with wide-spread roll out of QDI's electronic image and report distribution system to South East Queensland.

Marketing Liaison and Information Technology teams at QDI have been inundated with requests from General Practitioners and Specialists alike, to be set up with user accounts for the new Panavista system, which they are able to access from within their own patient notes or from any other remote location.

Within the first month over 150 individual user accounts had been established following request from community practitioners.A key objective of the team at QDI was to offer a service that would not require referring clinicians to have high-performance computer systems and connectivity. Panavista was selected as it addresses the concerns of overburdening community practitioners with complexity and accessibility issues that are typical of alternative solutions.
