Core Medical Solutions is nearing completion of The BOSSnet Digital Medical Record, which will allow Barwon Health to commence rapid conversion of existing hard copy patient records into a readily accessible at anytime and anyplace electronic equivalent.
Using high end digital scanning methods and equipment, Barwon Health will efficiently begin their transition towards an entirely electronic medical record, by preliminary scanning of existing paper medical records into the transitional digital medical record.
The digital medical record will be accessible from within the incumbent BOSS interface at Barwon Health, and provide further enhancement in the convenient access of historical patient data during clinical consultation.
The system is made even more efficient by the specific barcoding of individual types of forms, and the interpretation of these barcodes by The BOSS of forms as they are scanned to allow automatic collation.
