Benson Radiology SMS
Stat! now allows Benson Radiology to offer the convenience of real-time SMS notification to patients awaiting collection of their results.
Checking an electronic 'tick box', allows clerical staff to immediately dispatch a personalised text message to the patient's mobile phone, informing them that their results are now ready for collection.
Benson Radiology patients have expressed delight in being given the option to enjoy a stroll and refreshment in the local café district, or the ability to return to work rather than spending redundant time in the branch's waiting room.
This is an innovative and economical solution, which importantly also serves to enhance the quality of customer experiences.
"During our busiest times, the waiting room simply could not cater for all people waiting to undergo investigations, and those awaiting results. Utilising the Stat! service to effectively divert some traffic away from the waiting room makes for a much calmer and peaceful environment for patients and staff alike".
Benson Radiology has plans to employ Stat! as an appointment reminder service and to deliver preparation instructions to those patients undergoing certain investigations. Some appointments are currently missed, rescheduled or delayed whilst the patient carries out the required preparation, simply because they have not understood or have forgotten to adhere to instructions given at the time of making the appointment.
