Clinicians are able to 'read' the DMR as they would a conventional paper record, or they can utilise the DMR Navigation Tree to find specific patient episodes and all of the paperwork generated as a part of that episode. Alternatively, the free text search box can be used to filter the entire medical record for key words or phrases.
Different groups of clinicians are even able to have their 'own' customised display of the medical record, with customised tab/form sequencing. This extends to multi-campus services maintaining the ability to have discrete and centralised records at the same time.
Once clinicians discover how simple and timely the retreival of patient data is from BOSSnet DMR, they will be the ones driving for the next step being electronic transcription into BOSSnet.
